Absolutely, the source code version of IOA will permit just that. We realize there are times when you need your accounting system to have certain specialized features to make it 'fit like a glove'. The source-code version of IOA will give you the license to have either an independent IOA developer or IOA build those features for you. This type of developers license usually costs tens of thousands of dollars with other accounting systems, if available at all. With IOA it's just a few dollars more than the regular system.
